as you may have been aware (see above) I have been raising money for this years Children in Need.  I completed my challenge today and here is my shaved head - My donation page is above this post so if anyone would like to donate please feel free to do so.  I have raised online and offline £1500 so far x

Hi all

Happy weekend to you - I for one am so relieved to have 2 days off as been a tiring week for me.  

I have two cards to show you this time (for a change lol) - well i did say there would be more to come!

The first one to show is one for a man (have several of these to make).  The stamp comes from Cuddly Buddly, a new range of steampunk stamps. I love them.  I stamped it using white stazon ink.  I highlighted various areas using a white poly and a gold prisma, tore round the image, wiped a gold ink pad round the edge before mounting it onto another piece of green card.  I then mounted it onto a kraft card blank.  I stamped the greeting using the gold inkpad onto the green backing card.  That's it for the male card and here are the pics.

Now for the other card lol.  I have used this stamp on a few cards now cos I just love it and its versatility.  It is the winter scene by stampendous.  This time I coloured it using muted browns and used glitter for the snow instead of flower soft.  I think I prefer it actually.  I mounted it onto a plum coloured backing card, stamped the sentiment to the side and mounted it onto another kraft card blank.  Now for the pics.....

Four more Christmas cards ready to go.....f

Quick post--- I have finished four more cards.  Four more for grandchildren (now finished thank goodness) and one for someone at work perhaps.

For the kiddies cards I used Molly Bloom images and polys to color them along with glitter/flower soft.

For the reindeer an Indigoblu stamp, white panpastel wiped over watermark versafine, matted and layered red card and kraft card and distressed edges and inks.

New challenge over at ANYTHING BUT A CARD F

Yes thats right a new challenge has started over at ANYTHING BUT A CARD. The theme is OPEN THEME - that means it is anything goes.

I altered an old box base.  On the outside I covered with old serviette to give it the wrinkled look.  I then painted it and used inka gold over the top.  I fixed braid to the top as the hanger bit and also around the rim of box  I lined the inside with black velvet from an old dress I used to be able to fit into lol!

  I had bought an old cheap looking clay mask from a car boot sale. I painted it and then decorated it using broken jewellery, handmade flowers for the eyes and feathers.  

I then stuck the mask to the lining and voila a Hanging box frame.

I must apologise for all the pictures but could not make up my mind on the ones to use for this post.

Yet another Christmas card f

There seems to be the Christmas theme running continuously at the moment lol.  

For this one I used an Indigoblu sentiment stamp, heat embossed with gold.  Vintage style lamp post stamp (do not know the make) embossed clear over sepia ink.  I then colored it using my polys.  I used white and green flower soft for the snow.  That's that all done!

Just a quick posting as just finished another Christmas card and am heading to bed shortly.

I stamped a papermania stamp onto a kraft card, coloured using polys, distress ink round the edge and then brushed glossy accents over the top,

New Challenge - Eclectic Ellapu F

Hello all you lovely people

Seeing as there are new challenges over at Eclectic Ellapu I decided to alter a box.  I am on the Pink team and the theme is Favourite Colour Combination chosen by Sheena. The Purple teams theme is Leaves and Foliage as chosen by Elaine W.
