Pink Fairy in a coffee jar

For this months challenge over at Rhedd's Creative Spirit I have put together my version of a fairy in a jar, using a coffee jar.  Double whammy as got to enjoy the coffee first lol. For this project I used dried moss, sprayed green, a photo of a fairy and glittered up, twigs for the tree, paper napkin for the background, butterflies cut from the napkin and a handmade flower for the top

Hope you have enjoyed your visit and why not head on over to Rhedd's Creative Spirit and join in with our first challenge of 2018.

New challenge over at Eclectic Ellapu

Hello everyone

It is time for a new challenge over at Eclectic Ellapu and the theme is Anything Goes - nice and easy for all.

For this challenge I decided to alter 2 coffee jars - ultimately made as a leaving present for a colleague at work.  (She loved them by the way)

After preparation I used a blue/green chalk paint and wiped over with antiquing cream.  I then wrapped lace round the middle, around the lids and added a flower.

Why not head on over to Eclectic Ellapu and join in with the gun challenge - we would love to see you there.

Over spill from the festive season

Hi all

I made these for the festive season and have posted a few beforehand but decided to use these ones for my February project over at Altered Eclectics first challenge of 2018.

I made these out of a cereal packet for the centre with glitter card for back and front.  I simply added bails, ribbon and beads for the dangley bit lol.

For the centre I used old jewelry and diamante, pearls etc.  I will be making more festive ornaments ready for this years Christmas craft show.  I have never done on before so rather excited - already! Only 11 months to go lol.
