 Hi all hope you are all good

I wanted to make something quite subtle today and my first attempt was a disaster but thank goodness the second came out alright - well I think so anyhow lol

For this I used the following Lavinia products

Low tack tape to create the frames around the card

Elements ink Truffle and Sahara

Feather leaf stencil - my fave stencil

Stamps, mini Pipin, Words from the heart and Whimsical hares

Circle mask for the moon

Brown sharpie for the edge of card 

Brown pastel pencil for the grounding and white pastel for the highlights on the hares

brown fineliner for the movement of hare's feet

I have made this card for no particular reason, just enjoyment.

I made the background using Lavinia Roland gel press.  Rolled on Sahara elements and stamped mini leaves in versafine clair Shady Lane around part of circle then transferred to card.  Voila time to stamp out a card lol

Happy Father's Day

Hi everyone, I hope you are all okay.

I have been commisioned to make a couple of special Father's Day card's for colleagues at work.  This is my test run for one of the guys who is an environmentalist - just as well the card can be recycled lol. 

I was inspired by Jo Rice's design and just put my own spin on it - Thank you Jo. 

I went overboard with this one, five layers in fact!!!!

Noel, Noel ....

Hello every, yes it is time for a new challenge over at Peace on Earth Christmas challenge following our moodboard below.  So many options to choose from 

I have chosen the bottom right image using my Lavinia Christmas tree, Christmas Joy.  I decorated the tree by using a red gel pen, tiny baubles and running it down the branches.  The sentiment is from the set Seasonal words also by Lavinia stamps.  I really enjoyed making this as it is a Clean and simple card and I just love that style

I have put together another sea scene - third attempt more successful than previous two that were housed in their new home, the recycle bin!!! I call it cardmakers heaven and they will never be lonely thats for sure

I used a mermaid not used before and the reason she is being dusted off today is that shares the same name as my Grandaughter's name Alana and this will be for her 18th Birthday in June.  She makes me feel old and yet my youngest grandon will be four next week. The 6 inbetween 4 of them are 11 and the others are 15 and 13. Time flies huh.

This started out as a 3d heart with bunnies and cute things.  Look how it ended up - nothing like what was in my head at the time. I ended up outside of my comfort zone trying to create a water scene. I need more practice at it lol.
