Happy Saturday night to you all
I have not been near my craft room all week. I have not had any enthusiasm to make anything. No mojo and had to make something for my colleague and friend at work due to her leaving the dept on Wednesday. I don't know why I always leave important things to the last minute lol.
My friend likes to bake and she has just bought a range cooker. I went trawling the net for images of a range and came up with the background for this collage. She makes some amazing cakes, lemon drizzle, Bruce Bogtrotter's chocolate cake and hot cross buns so I found pics of those and stuck them on the left of the canvas. To the right I found pics of flour, castor sugar eggs and butter. Not all that visible on here the camera just would not play nicely. I distressed over the top and edges using TH brushed corduroy.
For the back I found a poem Recipe for friends. I rooted through my kitchen and found a shortish wooden spoon, painted it the same as the back and sides of the canvas and stuck it on top. The canvas can now be hung using the spoon.
Quite a quick project and reasonably pleased with it.
Hope you are all enjoying the weekend.
