Birthday card, canvas's oh whatever...D

Hello all

Not been in the craftroom much these days as no motivation to get on with anything substantial apart from making flowers etc.  So this project gave me a swift kick up the backside.  It is my stepmoms 80th birthday and thought this would serve as a card and pressie.

I stamped on some calico using a script stamp and stuck it to both canvases.  I then run ink around the edges.

First the 5x7 - I covered the back using lace and painted over it.I used wooden embellishments, cage and birds and left them natural.  The little glass vials I filled with pearls/beads and a couple of flowers.  The front of the canvas I used a picture from the net and cannot remember where from lol.  I used trimming round the edge.  The flower I made from muslin and I crocheted the corner.  I used a little ink over the top to give it all a vintage look.

The 8x8 canvas - I made another flower ad place it in the centre and gave it a frame of lace.  The front I just laid more lace down, added another of my flowers a crochet one this time, a stickpin I made and used a wooden postcard for my birthday message.  Thats it really - voila!  I do hope you like it - actually to the point that she does lol.

Hugz and love
