I have been a dabbling in my room on and off all week. I had bought these candlesticks/candelabra from a charity shop.
I decided to alter the single one for now. The real pain was getting all the seed beads entwined the entire piece with huge glass crystals in between held on by really strong wire. There were quite a few bad words spilling out especially when cutting myself on the jagged wire.
I painted white modelling paste all over with an overcoat of acrylic. I had quite alot of narrow lace so glued 2 pieces on each of metal frames. I then used pearl trim down the centre of the 2 pieces of lace, the base and candle tray.I used 3 resin roses and a crystal butterfly at the base.
This will be another gift however unsure who will recieve it as of yet.
I do hope you like my latest project.
Hugz and love
