I have recently finished redecorating my bedroom and along the way I found a couple of pewter frames - I could not bring myself to give away and thought they could be upcycled/altered to tone in with my bedroom. They definitely needed a lift lol.
The colours I used for my room are beige, cream and brown. I did not want the frames the same so I basecoated them. I then painted them - one in brown and the other in cream - I drybrushed over the raised elemnts using the cream on the brown and vice versa. I finished them off using a little inka gold, gold and champagne. Voila over and done with lol. Told you it was quick and yet satisfying too.
Now for the pics
