Hey everyone.....
This project is for one of my challenge blogs, Eclectic Ellapu, whereby the theme for the PINK team is HEARTS. Now I love to alter MDF hearts, and usually end up shabby chic. This time I wanted to do a new look.
I used poppy paper on one side and bark print the other. I wiped the paper over with distress inks and splashed it with water. I painted green leaves red using maya gold and rubbed inka gold over the top. I also roughly painted around the edges using the maya gold. I stamped and gold embossed poppy seed pods. I tore out the words Thank you from the same paper stack. Finally made a bow using sheer ribbon.
That was so simple I keep looking at it and thinking there must be something missing LOL.
Why not head on over and join in with the challenges. The PURPLE team are hosting the theme of BIRTHDAY FOR A LADY. You could combine the 2 and remember you have a month to join in.
Hugz always
