Skellies on top of it all.*

I just had to make another top hat and the plan was a shabby chic one --- Oh dear I think I may have wandered right off track on that idea lol.

I made the hat out of a foam camping mat using the pattern from Lost Wax - link in previous top hat post.

After fiddling about cutting and gluing the pieces together I covered the entire thing using screwed up tissue paper.  I then sprayed it using navy, dark red and bottle green colour wash and finished it off using black paint randomly.  I used a cat and raven diecuts on the side.  I broke up a couple of skeletons and randomly placed them round the brim.  I set about positioning 4 complete skellies, one on a wooden ladder.  I then painted roughly over them all using the black paint.  I then mixed up some polished pigments in a reddish brown and a gold and dry brushed the entire project. Fabulous for a Halloween decoration - a bit early I know lol.

Now for pic overload - and I mean overload - SORRY!  Thank you for dropping by ad I do hope you call again real soon.

Hugz and love always xxx
