Create art.*

and a few random items.  I have had terrible time trying to get my mojo motivated to do some altered mixed media.  The reason for it is I have been making alot of books for Christmas (still loads more to do too lol) and lost the will for anything else but I was determined so I got out a canvas and a few random items and just got on with it lol.

items used 

gesso

stencils and modelling paste

old paintbrushes - past their sell by date lol

metal butterflies, key and flowers

broken jewellery

tiny bottle with pearl string coloured using inka gold

Tim Holtz alphabet stacked 5 high to give the letters depth

small wooden letters

I then sprayed using diluted pink and purple mica and highlighted the embellies with the inka gold, purple and pink

Mini cheery album *

Yes another one so sorrrrrrry.  I am in the process of making albums and I have plenty more to blog so beware.  So not to bore you all I am going to post them gradually.  This album I made from lots of odded and ends of bright papers and coordinations card.  This will be a stocking filler for one of my daughter in laws - she loves taking pics so this will be ideal.  Now for the over load of pics.... sorry again

Really quick cards.....*

Hi all

I recently won over at Fashionable Stamping and was lucky enough to win $20 worth of their fab rubber stamps.  They arrived yesterday and just had to play.  I used Dylusions sayings and cut out freehand Santa hats from red card and flower soft for the brims and bobbles.  I find them rather quirky and hope you do too.

Well that is 3 more to add to the pile... am getting there lol.

Christmas burds but not a turkey in sight! *

Just a quick post showing you one more Christmas card for my collection.  I used the crazy birds by stamping onto Christmas paper and cutting them out. I used glossy accents over the eyes.   Love the dylusions saying too.

Two Xmas pressies *

Today I want to share with you 2 mini albums made for 2 of my grandsons - well their Mums and Dads to use.  They are specifically for Christmas 2015 pics - something to keep for eternity or until the book falls apart lol.  I used Forever friends Xmas paper and co-ordinations card for these.  I found I have far too many paper pads that there is a great need to use it up lol.  I only have 5 more to make so expect lots more albums on here lol. Sorry for all the pics too
