A few Christmas cards *

and here they are in all their glory   ... Crazy Birds -  - complete makeover, all glittered and snowed up ready to go.  Simple cards colored using polys, gold glitter and flower soft for snow.  I seem to sbe making a dent in the amount I am needing to make - Yayyyyy!

That's it for now - off to make some more - love these birdies.

Today another quickie post and yet another couple of albums for two of my grandchildren.  I have not overloaded with pics as the pages are similar in many ways and did not want to bore you lol.

Just a simple Advent Box *

Today I am sharing with you a simple Advent calendar made for one of my grandchildren.  I used a matchbox die and simply covered with papers and assembled as so.  Sorry this is a quick post but Christmas Card making is calling me lol.

Simple Christmas cards *

Another share for today.  I made these really simple cards and so quick - love them.  I simply stamped using brown ink and added some tiny gems.  How effective are they lol.

Mini album *

Today I am sharing with you another mini abum - just 3'' by 3''/  I used scraps of papers left from putting together album.  Great way to use scraps otherwise destined for the bin lol.

New Santa House *

Well it is time for another challenge over at Rhedd's Creative Spirit and as always the theme is Anything Goes mixed media.  For this month I altered a Bird House, bought from a Pound shop.  Such tacky bargains in there and so alterable.  

Firstly I took it apart and painted the edges black.  I then covered it in Christmas paper, distresses on the edges and black soot wiped over.  I used a contrasting paper for the roof and base.  

I bought some robins and glittery Christmas tree decorations from the same shop.  I placed the robins head through the bottom window.  I painted the glittery tree cream and wiped black soot over it.  I draped an old pearl necklace round the tree for a garland.

To finish it all off I dabbed glue in random places and sprinkled flower soft for the effect of snow.  That's it all finished.
