July over at Rhedd's

Over half way through year and I cannot believe how time is flying by.  It is time for a new challenge over at Rhedd's Creative Spirit and for this month I used part of an old calico/cotton tablecloth to make this needlecase/case book for a colleague who was leaving her job and move onto pastures new.  I used batting for the filling and used laces and handmade flower for decoration.

She loved it by the way lol.  Just as well cos I was not going to make anything else lol.

Why not head on over to Rhedd's Creative Spirit and join in with our new fun challenge.

  1. How vintage. I love this Elaine...I would love a needle case like that for myself..I would never have parted with it,lol...xx

  7. This is beautiful! I can only imagine the time that went into creating this gem! The lace and tidbits created such a vintage old world vibe. Victorian era-they only wish they had something this gorgeous! Awesome sauce and fantabulous!
