A little note

 For today I concentrated in making a card for Addicted to CAS code word being GRID.

I used cream card

Grid stamp from Shabby Textures , Creative expressions

Main die I have no idea of origin∟ i cut the frame twice and layered over the middle panel - can't really see it as it gets lost in the pattern , Reasoning to layer the frame was so it could look like a shelf for the vase to sit on.

The vase and the flowers are all made by Gummiapan - a Swedish company

Summertime

 I saw the new challenge over at AAA Cards and thought I would give it a go with this card.  The challenge is a sketch with flowers. 

Cream and neutral card

Flower stencil by Sweet Poppy Stamps - Oxide inks gathered twigs, victorian velvet

Bee Gummiapan stamped in gathered twigs as is the sentiment (stamp origin unknown)

bee coloured with polychromo pencil and cream dots made by double sided tape on back of cream card and used a die with tiny holes.  Lifted the off the card with their sticky back and stuck them behind the bee.  This also fits in with the challenge over AAA Birthday challenge of Birthday Flowers

Butterfly punch Vaesson Creative

Little dots made from cream card, double sided tape on the back and run it through bigshot using a Tim Holtz snow die to create the sticky dots - strained my eyes trying to get them out and place them (labour of love)

Flutterby

 I have made another CAS card but this time it is a one layer, one image, pale stenciling and a sentiment which fits in with the challenges stated below the image.

The stamps I have no idea whose they are had them so long and lost the packaging.  The stencil however is a Tim Holtz one.

I part stamped the butterfly off the card using Archival ink in Coffee and used for the sentiment

I used scattered straw oxide ink the the stencil

Bee to the flower

 Hello all

Today I felt like stenciling, onto cream card for the sepia look

Cream smooth card 300gsm

border using Brown card

Sweet Poppy stencil

Gathered Twigs Oxide ink pad for the stenciling and the stamped bee from Gummiapan

Sentiment composed in Word and printed using the colour picker in the paint programme to match the flower

 Yet again another butterfly

Butterfly - Tim Holtz. Used a Creative Expressions dot stamp called shabby textures over the main body and for the added pieces on top just the white card

Used dot embossing folder for the background though cannot see in the pic

In flight..

 Yes another butterfly, just cannot resist them lol

I did not know how I was going to use this die but then

Cut the die twice across each other

Backed half with lilac and other pale green

Die cut the butterfly in each of the colours, dissected in half and placed them over their opposite colours. Found a butterfly body from my memory box butterfly.

Both dies I have no idea as to their origins

Did not put sentiment on as of yet if at all - may just use it for any occasion

Dotty flutterby

 I used a dotty corner stamp stamped twice using tattered rose oxide ink pad to create the rectangle, in opposite directions of course. Stamp by Creative expressions, Shabby Textures.

Butterfly die cannot remember origin (so many butterflies in my stash) I die cut it out of a scrap digital image I did not like however it has not gone to waste.

Sentiment origin unknown

Til we meet again

This sad card is for the departure of ones beloved unconditionally fur baby. 

I used Smooth white cardstock 300gsm

2 pieces of randomly torn cardstock, taped down to where I wanted the space for the inks

Distress Oxide ink pads gathered twigs and pumice stone

Stamp set by MFT (my favorite things) Critter Condolences

neutral card stock for the mat behind the white and adhered to the card base using double sided foam tape

This was made specifically for CAS on Friday challenge being Condolence though am likely to enter it into other challenges

Lilys and flutterby

 Today's effort has taken me ages to get a decent picture and threw in the towel with the words what the heck - dark and light background, lightbox no light box you name it I tried it,,,, probably my eyes have a murky film over them lol.

Anyhow I used

300gsm smooth cardstock by Craftuk

I used my favourite lily image from pngwing and intergrated 2 butterflies also from the same site

Printed it out twice as intentions were to cut an aperture however it did not end that way. I die cut one image with a memory box butterfly and matched it up over the top. It may look a little off but believe me it is lined up perfectly when butterfly lies flat.

Out of the remainder where I had die cut I used my fave butterfly punch and cut it twice out of the lily. Placed it at end of sentiment of which was composed in word Font Donuts and cookies
