Know that I ...1

 Good morning all

For today I have put together a dragonfly card - I love them just as much as butterflies.

Dragonfly could be by Charlie and Pauchen - not sure and was cut using one of my Gel plate and acrylic plates on linen card to give it more texture.

The sentiment is by Stampin' up.

Unsure of the origin of bullrushes

The circle frame I used 2 dies together to create a frame and stacked two of them

The background was an embossing fold by Paper Discovery

Butterfly beauty

Hi all just a quickie for today - well it was supposed to be lol.  Turned out a lot longer than intended.

For this I found a quote on the internet and have no idea who the author is.

I have had the spotty  die which represents the trail of the butterly.  I  have had this die for an absolute age and I used this die previously but cut it twice through the centre but this time only used half the die.

Last night I was making more backgrounds using distress inks and different types of card.  This one did not bode well as I used my gray sketch paper which soaked all the ink and did not blend together at all.  It was destined for the scrap bin but loved the colours so used it today for butterfly and background to the cut out dots.

I cut my favourite butterfly and run it through an embossing folder by Paper Discovery

Once embossed I used pink inka gold on the bottom part of it and for the top I used purple. For the tiny butterflies on the wings I used the pink again.

Thank you for visiting and do hope you call in again real soon,

I will be on holiday from 21 - 30th in Marrakech yayyyyyyy! so this may be the last posting for a while but who knows???????

Falling Leaves 1

Well this one has taken me ages to get it right ... on and off all day and nearly gave up.

I used an die of no idea of origin, the tiny leaf stamps are also unknown and it was a bunch of three on the same stamp so had to be really careful just inking one up and getting it right.  I used orange, red and yellow Adirondack ink.  To do this I stamped it on to scrap card then stamped again underneath the words so the colours were muted.

The sentiment I found on the internet and it didn't state the author.

Thanks for visiting and hope to see you again

Happy birthday friend

 Hi all

For this I had found a die I know I have never used - It could be an Altenew die but then again not sure.  Not much help am I !!!!

I cut it out of the front panel for the negative space and adhered another of my gel plate creations behind it. This leaves a negative space.  I then cut another and stuck it to the other piece I had already cut out from the panel.  I then adhered the diecuts back into the negative space.

I used a Gummiapan butterfly die and cut two from the same design. I stuck the bottom one straight to the card and the other attached on top by the body only for the wings to be raised,

The sentiments stamps I used were separate and have no idea of the origin.

Thank you for dropping by for a visit really appreciate it

The simple things in life......

 Hi every one

Today I thought I would share with you the card I made this afernoon.

I used speckled blue and sage green oxide ink pads blended.

The grid die and the dragonfly I believe I bought from Charlie and Paulchen - I don't keep packaging.

I cut the dragonfly twice from a background I made using my gel plate and acrylic paints.

Thank you for popping in and hope you come back real soon

Butterfly crossing the line

I found CAS on Sunday their current challenge is stripes - who could resist? well I could't for sure.

I cut some very thin stripes from black card and placed them behind the aperture so the white card base in white can be seen, giving the impression of black and white stripes.

The butterfly is from Gummiapan, cut the body in black for contrast.

              Sentiment stamp unknown origin

Message to Heaven

I made this as a tribute to our lady Her Majesty the Queen and for all those we have lost personally.

For this one I used a heart die instead using it instead for embossing. it is quite faint but enough to see around the sentiment.
To mak your die emboss instead of cutting you have to use an embossing plate with a rubber mat. You tube has videos on it
The sentiment I saw ages ago on google but have no idea who originated this sentiment as there was no name to attribute to. I composed in word and printed it out
The butterfly is from Gummiapan as a set of three. I was going to used them all on the card but ended up just using the one.

Rudolph appears ......1

For today's card I used a background made with my Gel plate and acrylic paints.  I used a posca pen and lightly flicked to look as though snow is falling. I finally sprayed it with spray and shine to give it a sheen as well as protecting the colour.

I used the bunnies are I believe to be by Alexandra Renke and cannot remember where they came from. The reindeer was from Gummiapan I dissected him to look as though he is creeping towards the bunnies.

The sentiment was created in word and printed on the front panel. This was then adhered to card base using double sided foam tape.

Entered Try it on Tuesday bunnies and reindeer

The tiny Santa and Reindeer are from Gummiapan

The front panel is stuck to cardbase using double sided foam tape.

Bauble with sitting Santa 2

For this I used a bauble die which embosses at the same time, 3d Sizzix Impresslits. I used some of my greeny gold shaving foam background I had made a few days ago(have some left for a future project) and used Pebeo gilding wax over the raised areas.

I used a snow embossed background (unknown origin).  The tiny cute Santa is from Gummiapan, a Swedish company.I stacked him 3 times so he could nicely against the background through the circle aperture.  I used double sided foam tape to curve and raise the bauble so it also sat nicely.

Thank you for dropping in to see me
