Hi all fellow crafters

I set up this blog initially to show my creations and along the way I have found out blog land is the most wonderful place to meet like minded people and as a bonus new friends too. I really enjoy creating cards and everyday I cannot wait to get home from work to be near my crafty corner in my living room. Absolute heaven having it in my living room as I get to hear the TV and have my laptop close by (my three creature comforts LOL)

I have three grown up children and three really beautiful grandchildren (I am biased!)

Anyway I hope you enjoy your visit and please call back soon...

Bride and Groom - Mo Manning

Good evening all

Tonight I have finally made it to my personal area of pleasure...my craft table!  I felt a moment of romance fall over me (it doesn't happen all that often LOL)  and decided to make up a wedding card.  Well I had finally purchased Mo Mannings, Bride and Groom after longing and drooling over it for quite a while now.  So here they are with all the embellishments I could find to use on it lol.

Ingredients
Image - Bride and Groom coloured with Prismacolor pencils, covered in glamour dust and used crystals on the dress and grooms waistcoat
Organza ribbon, pearl gems and pearl strands - my stash
Bow made by lil ol me
Roses - handmade by me using the organza ribbon with pearls in the centers
Butterflies punched out, glittered up and adorned with tiny light green crystal gems to pull out the colour of the grooms waistcoat
metal corners - WOC
Organza ribbon pleated to look lacy and placed by me to fancy up the image

Well thats it for me tonight... need to get stuff ready for work tomorrow.. YUK!

Nighty nite all and take care xxx

Well I have not finished the card I have laying on my table.. lets just say it is a work in progress LOL. I thought I would share pictures of my family with you all instead. Yes as you will notice I do not have a wonderful father for my beautiful family as unfortunately never stepped up to the mark although I have top say we did pretty well without a man involved LOL and I am definitely not complaining.. the struggle was worthwhile!

Anyway I may just make it back to table before the day is out.

Twilight Lily Fae

I obtained his beautiful image from Craftsandme was designed by Sara Burrier. I colored her using prismacolor pencils(sorry cannot remember the actual colors used) . I also used metallic pens for the wings and details. The green patterned backing paper came from Bearly Mine Designs which I printed using photographic paper to give the background a shine effect. I used swirls colored in green and added glitter, pearl gems and mulberry roses. The roses were purchased a while ago from mulberry crafts The inside of the card is decorated to compliment the card. Thank you for looking and have a nice day.

The Happy Couple

This image I purchased from Tiddlyinks. The gothic couple was designed by Christy Croll and was coloured using prismacolor pencils by me. The background paper I purchased from Folkvangar They sell such beautiful and unique papers and I love them all so much. I have also added gems for the tiara and jewelley which adds another dimension to the card. The sentiment was purchased from LOTV which I have used time and time again. Once again the inside of the card has been decorated to compliment the front.
Once again thanks for peeking and welcome comments anytime. Serves as encouragement to carry on....
