Hey everyone
This week the challenge over at Paper ala Mode, The Outlawz is a project entitled ''Thinking of You'' and to say who you are thing of. Well I made this card for a colleague at work sent collectively from their unit.
The image came from the Graphics Fairy. I know it is unusual for me to use a ready prepared image but it made a change for me. I covered it in Rock Candy to give it a fine crackle look. I used a frame die, painted it with white acrylic paint and used RC on that also.
The backing paper is from Raspberry Road however unable to see it as so much on the card lol.
I coloured the vine ribbon using aged mahogany distress ink and wound it round my tiny bouquet I put together using flowers and pearls from my stash.
The sentiment I stamped twice, giving a shadow effect, onto another die cut, stained lightly with the ink again.
I used two tiny die cuts and arranged them into a heart shape and placed a heart gem from my stash at the bottom.
I placed a medium size doily behind the image and tore up a tiny doily and placed behind my painted bottle capped picture.
The metal corners are from my stash. I painted them and then embossed the red stain on top. However not very noticeable. There is also a small piece of sprayed muslin behind the image which has also got lost in the frenzy!
Mental note for next time... don't bother LOL.
Did I mention that all the peals, lace and gems are from my stash.. well I have now! The leaves are from a spellbiders die. Every embellishment was sprayed lightly with gold for the agedlook.
Anyway here are the pics, overloaded I might add.
