That's right, a brand new challenge and Anything Goes - everyone's favorite theme. Well it is mine anyhow lol.
For this month I altered a canvas and used a Marilyn Monroe postcard. My friend Paula kindly gave a book of them so you will be seeing alot more of her in the future.
Initially the thought of producing another Finnibair style canvas was in my mind but as soon as I had primed the canvas out from nowhere the scissors were in my hands. Yes that's right I cut here into pieces lol. I stuck her randomly to the canvas and then used modelling paste through a stencil between the pieces. My that was messy and alot of patience was required lol. I dry brushed the raised areas with black and grey paint and finished it off with inka gold in different colors. I used diamante trim for her earrings and necklace - does not show that well as it is sparkly all over - never mind. I touched up her lips with red pencil and used glossy accents over the top. Trouble is that does not show up all that well lol.
Anyway I do hope you like my project and why not head on over to Rhedd's Creative Spirit and join in with this months fun challenge, we would love to see you there.
