Oh what to do, what to do? lol. I think this alot when in craft room - too much stuff, need to sort it all out and get my act together so I started to sort out a drawer and come across alot of playing cards so I thought why the hell not! lol
So here are my altered playing cards.
The pics come first with the brief details beneath for each one
This one I covered the top half with crumpled serviette just to give texture. I stamped a ladys head and tore round the piece I wanted and stuck it onto the card after a little distressing. I wanted her to look a little more colourful so gave her some blusher! I covered the remainder of the card in a crackle paint and wiped over the entire thing with inka gold in green, turquioise and pink. I tore a partial sentiment and stuck it at the bottom and used wooden letters to complete the word 'young'. I used inka gold over the letters.
This one I gessoed first. I covered it in Distress Inks, red, green, blue and brown and sprayed with water to mingle them up a little. I stamped a random flourish in the corner and rubbed white perfect pearls over it.I used a grass stamp, gate and clouded sun. I think the outcome is effective but that is just my opinion lol.
Voila! all done
I do hope you you visit again and again and again lol
Hugz always
