With Sympathy

 Hi all, Happy Good Friday 

Todays card is a Sympathy card for a friend who requested me to make her one.  She recently suffered a loss

For this card I kept it quite simple by masking off an area of the card using low tack tape

I used an A5 card blank

Versafine clair Nocturne

Black sharpie

Lavinia stamps - Heartfelt verses, Orchard grass, Open Dandelion, Lavender, Meadow blossom, Blue bells and Wildflower

Serenity and Tranquility

 Happy Thursday to you all

I was at a loss of what to make today so flipped through my fairy stamps with my eyes shut and guess what, yes you can guess it, I found Aurora in my hands - so there it is a design around her. 

I have called this ''Serenity and Tranquility''

For this one I used loads of stuff so I apologise for the long winded list

Here are the ingredients

A5 Card blank (A4 folded in half)

Elements inks - Olive, Della Blue, Violet chalk, Midnight blue and Graphite

Versafine Clair - Nocturne, Monarch, Shady Lane, Warm Breeze, Rain Forest, Verdant and Blue Belle

Lavinia stamps - Aurora, Forest Moss, Star Blossom, Winter Berries, Orchard Grass, Lavender, Wild Flower and Bluebell

Water pen to bleach the colour out of the berries and wings to enable lay down the colour

Circle mask, water splats on background

Koh-I-Noor Mondeluz watercolour pencils - Greens 27 and 22, Blue 20, Red 48 and Orange 10

Sakura gelly roll stardust pens, clear, purple and rose pink

Stickles Cayman, Golden Rod and Purple

Wink of stella, White pastel pencil, White gel pen and glossy accents

Art from the heart

 Hello again I am back and probably for the final time today

I had this idea for a very quick card after seeing a painting on etsy.  I had the dandelion stamps and dinkles what more can a girl ask for lol

I have called this ''Art from the heart'' obviously!

For this project I used

Lavinia stamps - Dandelions and Art from the heart

Nocturne Versafine clair for the dandelions and sentiment.  I did not heat emboss the dandelions as I want the colour to be at one with them and not separate from them - I don't know if that makes sense but I know what I mean lol

Lavinia Dinkles powder - Chili Jam, deep yellow, yellow, Lime divine and burnt orange

Stickles Platinum, golden rod, gold and candy cane

Lot of mess for the process but am quite pleased with the outcome

Her Guiding Light

 Hi all, hope you are all keeping well

For today's make I once again dragged out some older stamps. I used one of my favourite fairies - Seren

I have called this ''Her Guiding Light''

Anyhow here are all the ingredients used for my project

 Hi everyone

Today I decided to go through my stamps and start using those I have not touched but had for a while. So out came Noof and her friends as I fancied some colouring therapy

Cherry Picking

 Hi again

Almost time for bed and here I am posting my second and last post for today.  I decorated another tag.  

I call this ''Cherry Picking''  and I used the following ingredients

Boblong gel press background using Sahara and sundance elements and placing Feather leaf stencil over the top before transferring to the tag

You probably won't be able to tell I used the orange pastel pencil on the top outline of Lupin and the legs of the fairies as the reflection from the lamp

Want to know a secret....

 Hi all

Hope everyone is good

For todays card I fancied monochrome with hint of colour and have called it 

''Want to know a secret''

I used the technique of using the pens over the flowers etc, very light spritz of water then stamped.  I used to use this technique years ago using Distress Ink pads.

I used a 5x7 inch card

Springtime - Getting busy

 Good morning, afternoon or evening 

I just love my Bell flower vine and have used it a couple of times recently however I wanted to step it up a notch.

I have callled this

I have not added a sentiment on it as really have no idea what to place on it in fact I think I may frame it I am confused. com lol

I am a little annoyed that not all of the embossing shows up but you will hopefully get the idea

Animal magic

 Hi everyone I do hope you are all well.  I have been sitting on some good news for a little while now and the time has come to share it with you.  I have been asked to submit Step by Step Tutorials on a regular basis and you could have scraped me off the ceiling lol. Anyhow down to business.  The theme for this month’s Lavinia Creative Challenge is ‘’Animal Magic’’.

Meadow beauty

 Hi all

I wanted to make something different.  A while back I made a matching card, bookmark and tag.  This time I made a matching card and pillow box for small gift. I actually dusted off my die cut machine and used a Tim Holtz pillow box Bigz die.  Had that for years so also needed dusting off lol

I have called this Meadow beauty

 I used the following ingredients

Ho Ho Ho!!!!

 Hey everyone I am loving the new challenge over at Peace on Earth Christmas and the moodboard features the Big Man, the one who checks off the Naughty and Nice list,,,,, I am usually on the former lol

I found this stamp in my drawer and I think it is a Stampendous stamp.  I have had it for so many years and the packet went walkabout.

I stamped it using Versafine Nocturne.  I watercoloured the image.  I stamped the mini holly stamp by Lavinia in two corners and used a red gel pen for the berries. I used wink of stella randomly over the holly. 

Blended elements truffle around the edge of card and mounted the panel onto black card

Sentiment is by Marianne Design, Christmas Carols and was heat embossed using WOW Platinum sparkle embossing glitter

Today I made this quick card, yes another floral. I made a monochrome version of yesterdays but won't post it just yet.  This time I used the Honeysuckle stamp, another one of my favourites.  What on earth am I talking about, all of my stamps are favourites lol.
