I have been able to play with a new stencil from Sweet Poppy Stencils, well new to me, in the sale at the moment and I am loving it. 

For this I used a 6x8.5 inch cardbase with black mat

Adirondack ink pads Mountain rose, Sunshine Yellow and Pitch black

Sweet Poppy Stencils - Perfume bottles and Large Blossom

Lipstick and sentiment stamps by Visible Image - Dare to be different

Glossy accents used on the front bottle to give dimension and on the lipstick

Time to show my two pics I have framed as a gift.  My Andy Skinner stamps needed to be dusted off and used.  There are a few more from the set called Botology I have not even touched yet.  

I have made these for 613 Avenue Create for the Design Team, I just add projects occasionally. Anything goes with optional twist of 'lots of love' . These projects are called Thinking of you so fits in with the challenge

The heart of Christmas

Wow look at our new moodboard for our new challenge over at Peace on Earth Christmas

I chose the heart and gnome and was so much fun to make

I made something different to my usual cards- we all need a change sometimes

Last year I bought 8 box frames 10x10 inch and had not touched them until today

My daughter works in a Residential home and thought maybe they would like a framed picture for there communal area

If they don't want it I know someone who would

It has not come out as I wanted but was worth the try, after all it is only card a the end of the day. I think I put too many poppies on it which throws it off balance but hey ho thought I would show it anyhow

So I used the following ingredients

Pink Frog White super smooth cardstock for the background and the poppies

Versafine clair Nocturne

Mixture of distress oxides, splattered with water and the used fan brush across the wet background so was quite wet. I splattered bleach, red and black posca over it

Pink Frog Precious poppies stamps, stamped many and cut out, snipped inbetween the petals to manipulate them

Used Tansai Gambi paints, reds, orange, yellow and ochre on the poppies

Stinky Silicone glue for the flowers
