Quiet corner of nature

I have managed to put together a card after hours of pondering as to what to do and a few pieces of card ended up in the bin.

So here it is. I used all Card-io stamps

The sets used are Wildflower woods and Woodland Retreat and Nature quotes

 Hi all

A nice easy card got the idea from Pinterest or Instagram ages ago, can't remember to be honest. I save all the cards that give me inspiration and seeing as I have made some cards recently just not happy with them so here is a Clean and Simple Christmas card and once again have used Card-io stamps from the following sets -Starstruck, Woodland Retreat and of course the mice from Water's edge

Up up and away

  Yes another Card-io card I just love the stamps so many options to let you imagination to run away with you.

The hot air balloons from Up up and away. The birds are from Waters edge, deers from Festive scene and mini tall trees for the bushes/foliage.

Versafine inks used were sky gray, charcoal and black

This is my version of the original card I found on You tube created by Laura Wenn and was totally mesmorised and it got me into buying Card-io stamps

A little taste of Heaven

 For this card I used the sets Winter trees, Deer Deer and Christmastide.  The card was meant to be snow and half way through I decided it to be marshmallowy clouds instead of my original plan after a little mistake I had made.  

Versacolor ink pads used were hyacinth and petal pink for the bleanding and for the images Versafine Clair Nocturne

Party time

 For this card I used Card-io stamps.  For the bottles. opener and glass I used Last Orders and for all the mice and cat they came from Taking cover, I just had to add the mice and cat to make it look like a wsinging party.

Night time in the hills

 Today's first card though could be the last - was working on this, after 3 attempts, for couple of hours lol. Can't get the black out of my fingers either

Hedgie is out and about along with the owl and wolf or could be a fox, could be a cross between both so could be called wolfox or foxwol which would make him/her a designer animal lol.

I used black, charcoal and grey Versacolor ink pads, Versacraft cool gray with Nocturne Versafine Clair, Card-io stamp sets used were Textures, Mini Tall Trees, Woodland Retreat and Breezy day.

The middle part of the card has been raised using double sided foam tape

Dusky hollow

 This morning I have created this scene firstly with oval Majemask Versacolor inks for sky - sky gray, charcoal, black, cardinal and imperial blue, pinecone and bark for nest. 

I used Mini trees for the grass, New beginnings baby birds with mum and worm, Wildflower woods for the flowers, Summer snooze for the trunk and sleeping mouse, Down at the den for nest, bird on left and hares, Waters edge for the owl and small flying birds

I think I got it all there lol I wanted a sentiment on this but most wouldn't fit and the one that did was dubious of making the card overdone.

 I created this monchrome scene first off using MajeMask Framed Circle, Wildflower woods for the flowers and grass to appear to be blowing towards the right along with the web and spiders also blowing to the right, the mice in the bottom corners from Waters edge, 2 small mice in the grass from Wavering wildflowers, the owl from Down at the den. the branch from Swings and things.

 Final for today and I am not kidding this was attempt number 7.

Smudges ink pads falling onto card you name it happened lol. Spot the mice in the image there are 3. Several Card-io sets were used.

Festive Trees POE

 Hi all it is time for a new challenge over at Peace on Earth Christmas using the following moodboard

I have chosen the top 2 for my project, green red and trees.  I used a tree die and not sure of the origin however love his die to bits.  I die cut three times in white and once using some paper from Festive chalkboard paper which I have had living in a drawer for an absolute age

I used a snowfall embossing folder for the background behind the aperture
