You make my heart smile

 Happy any day it is in the world, it is Sunday here in the UK

Well yesterday I made a Valentine's day card using a home made stencil using my dies and the colours I used were very strong so I spritzed it with water and made a background from the would have been wasted ink. It gave me the shape of the heart with all the colour on the outside. 

In case you are wondering if the middle heart is a die cut it isn't.  I made created another 3D heart using inks and another heart stencil made by same set of dies

This is my second and last for today. I never intended to make anything else today however I fond myself on a roll and this one just came together as to how I envisaged. It started off by coming across one of my unused stamps - Fairy Bonnet set, whilst clearing up the bits and pieces from my last card

In the spotlight

 Happy Tuesday everyone.  I have been in the office today and had back to back meetings from 8.30am until 1pm.  Was all talked out and just wanted to get home to play with some of the stamps I have not used until now.  Woodland Sprite, Creeping Vine and bluebells I have had for ages but not used them.

I have called this one ''In the Spotlight''

The background I have had lying around for ages, made on gel press with della blue and olive elements.  I have so many backgrounds waiting in the wings and I am determined to start using them up

For this I used the following ingredients

The Courtship.....

 Hi all hope you are all well

As you will see I have made another Unicorn card, but this time being in love. The lady Unicorn is quite coy while the male declares his love - I wonder what she is thinking at that moment.  

For this I used the other background I used for one of my previous posts. I think it was a mop up from a stencil used for another card. I love the effect so much

Magical encounter

Good day to you all

I have just remembered it is one of my Grandaughter's 11th birthday at the end of the week and I just know she loves Unicorns so that is what she is getting

For this I used a background I had tucked away in a draw and felt the pink/blue tones were perfect for this card. I think it was a mop up from a stencil used for another card. I love the effect so much and I had managed to get 2 pieces of DL card from the background, so yes I have another

Poinsetta season

Hi all

Time for a new challenge over at Peace on Earth Christmas using the following moodboard. Lots of inspiration here.

I chose the wreath (I love wreaths), the twiggy part, the fir branches and the poinsettas all made by Card-io as well ads the sentiment.

Keep moving forward

 Hi all

After my last large project I wanted to make something quite simple.  I had a mica background made using clean up from a stencil on cream card.

 This is a used inked stencil, sprayed it with water and placed it face down onto a piece of card.
