By the Shore

 I could not resist using my new ocean stamp from Inkylicious and what a challenge it was/is.  I will keep practising at this. Many ideas in head lol.

This one I have called ''By the shore''

For this I used the following

 Orange fineliner for beak - not that visible in photo

Scene is so beautiful, I can almost hear the waves and smell the salty sea at warm night. Amazing card! Love it!

Taking stock

 Yes another Card-io card and this one is for our new challenge over at 613 Avenue Create and it is anything goes with the optional theme of Nautical(Boats Sand, Water, Beach, etc.).  

I am just going with the anything goes.  i put this together using the following sets

Berry Christmas

 Hi all

Yes again time for a new Peace on Earth Christmas hosted by Team Diane and the current moodboard to follow is below. 

I drew my idea from the top two pictures. For this one I used a set of berry branches fir branches and mouse by Card-io stamps,  White gel pen along the branches, posca pen for the snow fall and  I used liquid pearls on some of the berries randomly. Isn't the mouse cute holding a berry?  No sentiment needed.

 Good afternoon

This morning I stamped a Lavinia stamp of a pathway and then watercoloured it.  I did not know what to do from that  point on until a couple of hours ago. 

I extended the path to the edge of the card using inks and pastel pencils

I then used the following Card-io stamp sets, Field florals, textures, Tattered trail, Waters edge and beach trail

Distress oxided ink pads Pumice stone, old paper, stormy sky and chipped sapphire

Versafine clair Nocturne, rain forest, shady lane and verdant

Brown, grey and white pastel pencils - white for the highlights on grasses, meeces and part of path

For this one I simply used a branch/leaf die to look like a Christmas tree. Matted and layered onto white card.  Glitter on the tree

Maple butterfly

Hi all it is time for a new challenge over at Mix it Up and the theme is Aperture. 

I used a maple leaf mask for the backround and with the left over background I die cut a butterfly

Dream Valley Challenge 297 Dies/punches 22/07

Happy 90th

 It is time once again for our new challenge over at AAA Birthday and theme is Butterflies and was chosen by me. 

It is one of my neighbours 90th birthday so wanted something really pretty. 

I used a PNG image of a frame and inserted the words in my photoscapex.  I printed it twice as I wanted to punch out 3 butterflies from the same colours.  I diecut a circle through the image for an aperture and then placed it back over matching up the image . 

I punched out three butterflies, stuck their bodies to the card and then used liquid pearls down the centre and a few on the card trailing behind them.

I dry embossed lines around the edge of front panel using my scoreboard

Fallen leaves

It is time for another challenge over at Love to Scrap where the theme is always anything goes

For my card I die cut a few maple leaves in different sizes, attached the smaller ones after using distress oxide inks over the top.  The larger leak I used as a mask using the smae inkpads
