Recycled Seed beads and pearls

Here we are again ladies - another challenge over at Altered Eclectics.  As always ANYTHING Goes as long as it is mixed media, recycled, up cycled.   For this month I have used beads from my stash of old jewelry which I lovingly stripped an absolute age ago.  need to start using instead of buying lol.  Anyway hre are the pics of 2 more bracelets and they are presents for colleagues.

Altered Eclectics March Challenge

Hi everyone

For this months challenge I have used dismantled necklaces and tried my hand at beading.  OMG you will never know how many times I had to restart these projects.  Too many to count lol.  I will pursue this hobby though as I am determined to get it right and also it is relaxing although frustrating at the same time lol.

As you can see I made a bauble sleeve and a bracelet.  The bracelet was initially meant for an adult but I cut my losses and kept it small in case I made another mistake.  My granddaughter is now the proud owner (she is only six so very easy to please lol. 

Challenge over at Altered Eclectics

Hello everyone

It is time for the first challenge over at Altered Eclectics.  For this challenge I have altered a compact mirror.  In fact you will all get fed up with seeing them as I have got slightly addicted to them at the moment.  

For this project I used diamante chain, Triple thick, German glass glitter and a brooch for the centre piece.

Now for the pic, yes just one - not overloaded this time lol

December challenge over at Altered Eclectics

For this months challenge I altered a wooden heart bought from a pound shop.  I gained the inspiration from a fellow crafter, Sandra the owner of  Rhedd's Creative Spirit. 

I used reindeer and letter die cuts, twigs from my garden, small cones from an old decoration and glitter.

Its time for our November challenge over at Eclectic Ellapu and the theme is Thanksgiving.  For this challenge I made a card using one of Tim Holtz stamps.  I coloured my birdie using my pencils and found some festive paper in the bottom of my paper draw.

November challenge for Altered Eclectics

Hello everyone

Firstly apologies for my long long absence from creating anything.  I have had alot of personal stuff going on this year (still have!!!) and my mojo completely disappeared, in fact I hadn't even stepped into my craft room.  I forced myself in there for the November challenge over at Altered Eclectics and came up with these, an altered jug and bottle/vase. Typical of me though - I forgot to take pics of the before lol.

I painted these white, used napkins from my stash and then used sandpaper on the edges to give them the vintage look.  Finally I gave them a coat of varnish.

I do hope you like them - now for the pics and sorry for the overload.

Fairy in a Jar - Altered Eclectics Challenge for June

Hello all

For this months challenge I have posted a fairy in a jar.  I used an old coffee jar, place dried moss at the bottom. used twigs from a tree from my garden, attached a photo of a fairy to the twigs.  For the back I used a napkin, framed it using lace and made a handmade flower for the top.
