Captain Locke - Kenny K

Good afternoon all

I do hope you have enjoyed your weeken.. I know I have. I have had my partner and my preggie daughter here for the weekend.  Took her out and spent loads on the twins she is expecting.  I now cannot afford to go out so looks like I will have to stay in the remainder of the month to craft.... bummer huh!

Today I felt a Kenny K moment coming on along with steampunk so that is just what I did.

The image I used is Captain Locke.  I used prismas on her with glossy accents on her eyes, lips, goggles and her keys. I cannot remeber where the paper came from however it was a digital frame. I have stamped and embossed in the middle part behind Miss Locke however cannot really see it lol.  My mate Paula cut out the key and cogs in the background for me. I used crackle distress powder on them and rubbed gold over the top to give them the rusted effect.  I used silicone for the cog, key and image to give it all dimension.  As you will see I used more glossy accents on the clock face and insect on the background to make it more interesting.  Don't know if it worked lol.  Did you see I sat her on the big cog.. do you think her bottom may be uncomfortable against all that rust? Gosh she probably chaffing her delicate area lol.   Poor Miss Locke! I did not use a sentiment so it could be used for many an occasion.......

Now for the pics

Must go now and get all the mess off my hands before starting another project lol

FATHERS DAY/MALE THEME OVER AT POODLES PARLOUR THIS WEEK

I made this one specifically for my DT inspiration card over @ Poodles Parlour.  Theme thiS time round is Fathers Day/Male themed card.  I have now found a use for it apart from giving you inspiration to join in the fun (well I hope so!) as I have a friend I can send it to and I know he will appreciate it.

The backing paper is from Vintage downloads.  The clock/cog stamps are from a Kanban set and very useful I found them too. I used brown memento ink to give it the vintage look which suits steampunk.  The sentiment is by Christy Croll.  I coloured the image using my pencils and kept the theme going with the vintage feel.

Come over and join us over at Poodles Parlour for this fun challenge.....

Kenny K - Allura Von D

Hi all

Kenny K Yayyyy.... perfect for a mans card to get the blood pressure raised (well the guys in the office did lol) I am sure you are all familiar with his artistry.  He is brilliant.
Okay on to the details of my creation.  As above the delightful Allura Von D has been coloured up using copics, prisma and promarkers.  The backing papers are from Raspberry Road.  The sentiment created on my computer and the gems from my stash.  The inside compliments the front as usual.

See that was short and sweet lol

Kenny K ''Lady Raven''

Good evening everyone.. well those that will be peeking!

Tonight I have managed to put a card together especially for Kenny K Challenge ''Embossed''.  and for Anything goes  @ Mad for Markers. I have used the sassy Lady Raven. I had a lot of fun doing so.. I think I may have overdone the bling but does it really matter..NO.

The background paper is from Sassylass2 from Raspberry Road .  Really lovely bold flower power design if you know what I mean LOL.

The flower I put together from a sizzix die I have in stash along with the purple, turquoise and bright pink feathers.  I have not used feathers for a long time and thought I might have to actually dust them off before use.. Just joking!I blinged the flower with stickles and added a cross charm also from my stash. I coloured the image with prismacolor pencils.

See what I mean with bling.. got a little carried away with gems and stones.  The swirl is from sizzix also blinged up with black gems.  The hearts  and  strip across the card are cut out from Tim Holtz Co-ordination card and are embossed with just a few fuschia pinkpearl gems LOL.  There is another embossed pink card underneath the image but can hardly see it LOL.

There is a large die cut butterfly blinged with stickles and crystal gems.  The sentiment I produced with wordart.  What would we do without the technology we have in our hands!

Anyway thats it for now as need to get this entered into the challenge.

Big hugz Elaine x
