February challenge over at Rhedd's Creative Spirit *

Hello everyone

It is challenge time over at Rhedd's Creative Spirit and for my project this month is an altered perfume bottle.  Firstly apologies for the quality of the before photo - worse than I thought but I think you can make out what it was like.

I believe it is an Yves San Laurent bottle

Anyway I used Silkies type paint which you mix powder with binding pase and dabbed various rich colours until I achieved the effect I wanted.   

Now for the pics

I used various metal filigree embellishments some of which I trimmed, small corners for the lid.

 I used pale pink inka gold over the metal to make it pop and I love the look. 

To finish off lots of red gems  I used glossy accents to stick everything to the bottle which also secured the lid.

December over at Altered Eclectics *

Hello everyone

Well it is that time of year when we all start to wish everyone well - Tis the season and all that and what a way for me to kick off our December challenge over at Altered eclectic but for me to drink 2 bottles of wine just to make this project - i know it is an awful way to procure wine bottles.  I hated every drop lol.

For the bottles I used chalk paint for glass and crackle medium.  These have been left plain as commissioned by another crafting legend over on You Tube - Jennings644....  Go check out her tutorials (so so many to watch you will be there until 2025 lol)  here is the link to the video where she is showcasing these bottles and some of the items I sell in my store HERE

Now time for me to say bye for now and hope to see you joining in with this final challenge of the year.  This one will last until Feb 1st as my long suffering DT are going to have a well earned braek until then.

You're a little saucy *

Oh my word September already.  This year has really flown by hasn't it!  Time for a new challenge over at Rhedd's Creative Spirit and this time I shabby chic'd a sauce bottle (using lots of my odds and sods from one of many boxes stacked up lol) and transformed it into a vase - a present for a friend.  

I painted the bottle and basically added layers of lace, hessian, ribbon, added some flowers to the front and a transferred paper napkin on the back
