New challenge over at Eclectic Ellapu 1 ends Aug 1st

I have to say I felt at a loss this time even though it is anything goes - so easy but still at a loss.

I decided to alter a A4 grey board cut into sections.  I gesso'd the greyboard and started off with DI ink pads and then spritzed to give some random color asnd then sprinkled some brusho.  I then used my fave tree stamps over the top.

I then mounted the sections onto another sheet of greyboard,  painted black.  I then stamped and coloured trees at the bottom.

Bit of a random piece but quite enjoyed making it all the same.

My second leap into using Brusho *

I was in the mood to make a card today - so what to do I asked myself.  I recently purchased a set of tree stamps by Creative Expressions - I just love them but was unsure what to do with them.  So there I am sitting there terrified of the stamps and the beloved brusho's (yes they scare me still after having just the one success with them).  I played about with the brusho's once again and after several attempts I achieved an almost subtle background for woodlands.  Now for the stamps.  Hmmmmmm!  I didn't want to stamp directly onto the background in case I made a big boo boo with them lol.  So I practiced masking areas off until I felt confident it looked okay.  Now for another first for me I got a piece of acetate out of my stash (had to rummage about for it too LOL ) Dah dah! I think I managed to mask and stamp quite successfully - I used a sentiment stamp from another Creative Expressions which I stamped directly onto the card.

That was my little adventure for today and I have to say I am quite pleased with myself lol.
