Curiosity - Pollycraft

Good evening everyone

Well what a day I've had. I went to work and actually did some LOL.  No I do work hard and always rushing home to get to my craft table.  Good job I live on my own now that all the kids have their own lives.  

Anyway I started this project last night, actually just coloured the image up.  Yes another one I have come across in my stash amongst the other hoard that not been looked at LOL.  I am going to make an effort to use them.

The image is from Pollycraft and is called Curiosity.  I coloured him up using my prisma's.  Just love them.  The backing papers are by Raspberry Road, Harvest Blessings.  Never used these before and have found them rather effective. My opinion of course!  I wanted to keep it quite simple, no ribbon, pearls and no glitter. OMW it was hard to not get carried away.  I used a branch, corner and poppies die by Memory Box using Kraft card.  Wll you cannot actually see the poppy diecut as I placed the flowers on the heads LOL.  I also used the leaves die from Spellbinders.  The sentiment I generated on the computer and used the grommet tag by spellbinder to frame it.  I have to say I am a little disappointed with the grommet die as there is no seperate middle die and I didn't think to cut on out on this occasion.  Silly me but never mind.  I found two buttons and tied a bow using jute string.  I punched three yellow butterflies to brighten it all up and the poppies are from WOC.  As always the inside compliments the front.

Cherish - Pollycraft

Hi all

Well after last nights creative block I thought I would have another go at something new.  I have has some Pollycraft images for an absolute age and have never touched them.  So today I di and found they are fun to work with.I also fancied using some bright colours and tadaaaaaa.. I did! LOL.

So without further adieu here is my latest creation... well the ingredients first of course LOL

Hi all and what a late one it is again... for me that is LOL.  

Some good news first of all I won New Baby challenge over @ Robyns Fetish with my baby card below and that has pleased me no end.. in fact I cannot stop smiling LOL. In fact I have won top spot over @ Prairie Fairy Designs for the same card ( I know I mentioned that in an earlier post but please humour me or shoot me LOL) .. I must have done something right LOL

Now onto the loss of my crafting MOJO....

The card I am about to post has caused me grief today.  I coloured up the image this morning and it fell to the floor. As I went to pick it up I trod on it and it got ruined.  So another 2 attempts later I managed to get it how I wanted it.  I sewed the backing papers (yes thats right the sewing machine got a right old dust off today LOL) etc together so I knew how I wanted the initial layout to be so that was fine.  But true to form it all started going awol again.  I just couldn't think of what I wanted as embellies and once I made up my mind on those I was at a loss as to where to put them on the card... ARGGGGHHHHH and stronger springs to mind.  Iwas not going to bed until this was complete and here it is.  

Ingredients

Papers - My Memories

Image - Saturated Canary

Ribbon, lace, pearl stems and pearls - My stash

Metal corner (picket fence crackle) and flowers - WOC

Mini corner die (picket fence crackle) - Whimsy

Leaves (picket fence crackle) - spellbinders

Flourishes - marcarena corner die Memory Box (cut to pieces and smothered in the crackle paint)

Glamour dust all over the place

And finally the most important ingreient is the blood sweat and tears..... sorry unable to photograph this!!!! LOL

Good evening everyone

I must start by apologising for my absence this week but I found my creative mojo disappeared on me as well as being really tired.  Never mind it came back this evening and I sat and put this card together.  

The image I adore and I purchased it from Sherri Baldy's shop on Etsy, or was it her shop?  One or the other anyhow LOL.  I felt like making a sepia card for a change so I coloured her up using my favourite pencils.  I am not even going to say the name out loud as I mention them everytime I post LOL.  The papers came from Simply Craft and Raspberry Road.  The flowers mainly from WOC and Mulberry Crafts I think.  Well how can a girl remember when she has a drawful to get through LOL.  I tore a corner of a doily and distressed it with Tim Holtz as I did most of the card and used a sentiment I found on a free site which I think works really well (my opinion of course LOL) The Lace is from my stash which suffered the same treatment. I used Spellbinder grommet tag for the sentiment which again I embossed.  I have not embossed for a very long time so it was a treat.  Thought I had forgotten how too LOL.

The inside compliments the front of the card...

October Rose - Mitzi Sato-Wiuff

Hi again

I have been trying to catch up and use all the images I have been colouring and get them made into cards LOL.  So here is another one to peek at.  I coloured her up using prismacolour pencils and promarkers.  I am actually not all that happy with her hair but I thought ... What the hell!  The papers are from Raspberry Road.  The doily, butterflies and pearls I coloured using a promarker, cardinal red I think.  The roses came from Mulberry crafts and the carnation from WOC.  The ribbon is from my stash.  I used alot of stickles on this one too LOL.  The inside compliments the front.  I didn't want a white space to write on in this one as it looked too out of place.

Mo Manning - Baby Girl

Hi all

I'm sorry I have not been around for a few days but have been busy with life LOL.  On friday I had a friend visit me and it was brilliant to catch.  She is also an avid crafter and her work is beautiful.  In fact you can find her work here so please take the time out to peek.  

Today I am posting a commision for a new baby girl card for a colleague at work.  I love this image from Mo Manning, she is so cute.  I coloured her with promarkers and prisma pencils.  The backing paper is from Raspberry Road. The ribbon, pearls and teddy button are from my stash.  The flowers are from WOC lavished with glitter glue to give them something a little extra. The die cut corners are by Whimsey and I also used Nestabilities by Spellbinders.  The inside of card compliments the front as usual.

Sister Love - Darcys Diaries

I have been asked to make a little girls card and I thought I would keep it fresh looking and simple until I opened the flower drawer LOL.

Anyway here it is.....

I used an image from Darcys Diaries (Teddy Bo) called Sister Love.  I coloured them up using promarkers and pencils.  The papers are from Nitwits.  The flowers are WOC and the ribbon and gems from my stash.  See the descripton was short and simple LOL.

Anyway thats it for tonight as I am still suffering from the headache which is waiting in the wings to blow into full scale migraine again LOL... I do hope not as I have my gorgeous grandaughter Alanna for the day tomorrow.

Bride and Groom - Mo Manning

Evening everyone

I have been home all day as suffered a migraine most of night so needed to rest.  Mind you I did not had much enthusiasm to do anything however I managed to finish this card off.  This is a commission for someone at work and needed to be finished by the weekend.  

The backing papers are from Raspberry Road.  i used spellnders framing the image which I finished off with pearl gems from my stash.  Also from my stash is the mini doily, ribbon, pearls and cystals on stems.  The flowers are from WOC.  The corner was cut from a memory box die and covered with Tim Holtz's picket fence crackle paint and smothered in glamour dust.
