Ragged Angel - Mo Manning.....D

Yayyyyy another challenge going live over at my challenge blog ECLECTIC ELLAPU.  I am absolutely overwhelmed by the response we have had since starting up in October.... and long may it carry on I say!

This weeks challenge is hosted by the very talented Sheena and the theme is ''JOLLY & BRIGHT''.  Well it had to be yet another Christmas card didn't it lol!  Well it is that time of year afterall - oh did you not notice??? Well heres the rub.. only 15 days to go! Ha Ha!

Anyway back to business well pleasure really.  I decided to used the gorgeous Ragged Angel by the fantabulous Mo Manning.  I used this one alot last year and just still go back to it.  Not sure there is much improvement though lol.  Me that is not Mo!

I coloured her up using prisma pencils and initially used glitter for the snow around her feet.  This was not meant to be - I did not like it.  So out came the cotton wool and onwards and upwards to getting messy as per usual!  PVA and cotton wool hmmmmmmm!

The backing papers are by Summer Driggs.  Just love them.  The sentiment I magically made in Word.  This card is in fact for my dad and his wife.  Yes I am actually using this one!.  I used white crackle paint around the edge of the card.  I also used it on my snowflakes with some glamour dust on top.

Adventure Guy - Mo Manning

Hey everyone

Today is the start of another exciting challenge over at Paper ala Mode, Outlawz. The challenge theme is to celebrate Labour Day and new beginnings.  I decided as soon as this cute guy appear over at Mo's I just had to have him for this project.  He looked kinda vintage so I couldn't be happier to distress it all LOL. The paper I already had in my stash and am so pleased it matched in perfectly.  The city names I produced in word. Now before you all start shouting at me that the cities are all out of sync I will tell you why... the little boy is lost... well actually I am rubbish at geography.  Anyway if it were perfect you wouldn't have anything to spot! Have to keep it interesting afterall.  I coloured him up using my pencils.  I used the alphabet die and clock hand by Tim Holtz which is secured with a brad. I then covered them with glossy accents Did I get North, South, East and West in the right positions ?????? LOL. 

Anyway thats it from me today.. well for the moment anyway.  I need to start looking at the blogs of the wonderful ladies who have applied to be on my design team over at Eclectic Ellapu.  Don't forget to drop by now ya all!  in the meantime get ya booty over to Outlawz and join in the fun.

I really love this image of Mo's.  I used copics and pencils as usual.  My fav mediums I have to admit.  The papers are from Raspberry Road, the pearls and lace are from my stash.  The flourish die is from Die-namics, love it.  The flowers are from WOC and the pearl sprays are also from my stash. The inside compliments the front... yayy I got the stock phrase in again LOL.

I told you these posts were short but I am itching to get back to another project.....

First Birthday Girl - Mo Manning

Hello everyone.. what a wonderful day today is going to be... I have the day off and a friend is coming to take me out to a craft shop yayyyyyy!!!.. Like I need anymore stash lol.

Anyway today I am posting another commission card for a colleague at work. The subject is of course a baby gals first birthday(well the image says it all huh!)  I used copics and prismapencils to colour up the image.  I used robbon from my stash as well as the pearl gems.  I put the sentiment together using my pc and used a grommet tag die from Spellbinders.  The papers are from Raspberry Road and I used glamour dust quite sparingly this time lol.  Anyway without further adieu here are the pics... PS the inside compliments the front lol!.

Baby Girl - Mo Manning

This evening I have been making a couple of cards as a commission.  I have a few to catch up with and you know the story.  You get the order way back in March giving you deadlines of July, August and they never get done.  I also have a problem with making something to specifics.  I feel as though my creative juices are not flowing naturally.  Tonight I felt like making a steampunk or Vampire card and ended up doing not one but two cutsy cards lol.  Anyway enough of the moaning I thought I would share my work with you all.  This one is a beauty of a Mo Manning image.  I coloured her using promarkers and prisma pencils.  I used pink memento around the edges of the image.  I added a touch of glitter, ribbon, teddy button and square doily from my stash.  The flowers are from WOC. The butterflies I punched out and glittered them up and added tiny gems to them.  The papers are from Raspberry Road.. I think lol.  Not that you can see much of it! 

Here are the pics and I hope you like them.... more to the point I hope my customer likes them LOL. (if she doesn't I could always use it as a recycled project!)The inside compliments the front (not said that in a while lol)

This card has been made specifically as DT inspiration for the 2000 Member Party and the theme is  ''Where in the World'' over at The Outlawz.  There are loads of games and activities over there and lots of sponsors and prizes.

  
I used another of Mo Mannings gorgeous characters.  I coloured her up using copics and prismas.  I found the background US flag, Union Jack and quotes on the internet and printed them off.  The ribbon came from my stash and I made the bow.  That was a very quick run through of the ingredients of my card.  And I am not going to over load anyone with pics wither for a change LOL.  Why not hop over to the OUTLAWZand join in the fun...

A really really short post as so tired need my bed lol

I finished this one tonight and wanted to get it on here.. so impatient I am lol.  I bought this image yesterday and couldn wait to colour her us as she so darn cute.  I used copics and prismas for the image.  The backing papers are from My Memories and the pearls, crystal thingys and ribbon from my stash.  The flowers are from WOC. I used a spellbinder die for the leaves and the corner die is from Memory box. The inside compliments the front.

Sending Peace - Mo Manning

Evening everyone

Tonight I wanted to create something different and Ifound this digi in the pile of the untouched... and it grows day by day LOL.  I have used Sending Peace by Mo Manning and loved colouring her up.  The backing paper is from Raspberry Road.  The flowers are from WOC and the pearls are from my stash.  I went mad with my cloud die and stamped the word Love onto one of the clouds.. well I did not have the stamps for peace, just could not find it anywhere.. so Love it is LOL.  What do you think of the excessive use of glamour dust? .... you want to see my work area.... LOL.

Mo Manning - Baby Girl

Hi all

I'm sorry I have not been around for a few days but have been busy with life LOL.  On friday I had a friend visit me and it was brilliant to catch.  She is also an avid crafter and her work is beautiful.  In fact you can find her work here so please take the time out to peek.  

Today I am posting a commision for a new baby girl card for a colleague at work.  I love this image from Mo Manning, she is so cute.  I coloured her with promarkers and prisma pencils.  The backing paper is from Raspberry Road. The ribbon, pearls and teddy button are from my stash.  The flowers are from WOC lavished with glitter glue to give them something a little extra. The die cut corners are by Whimsey and I also used Nestabilities by Spellbinders.  The inside of card compliments the front as usual.

Bride and Groom - Mo Manning

Evening everyone

I have been home all day as suffered a migraine most of night so needed to rest.  Mind you I did not had much enthusiasm to do anything however I managed to finish this card off.  This is a commission for someone at work and needed to be finished by the weekend.  

The backing papers are from Raspberry Road.  i used spellnders framing the image which I finished off with pearl gems from my stash.  Also from my stash is the mini doily, ribbon, pearls and cystals on stems.  The flowers are from WOC.  The corner was cut from a memory box die and covered with Tim Holtz's picket fence crackle paint and smothered in glamour dust.

Jack and Ginger - Mo Manning

Good morning all (and goodness is it early or what LOL) Just woken up and thought I would post this before going to work.  

My father and stepmother have been married 25 years this week so I thought I best put a card together.  I have not wanted to make one due to my Mums death however forced myself last night.

I use Mo Mannings' Jack and Ginger - gorgeous old couple in live huh.  So sweet.  I am unsure as to where the backing papers are from as I have had them printed out for a while.  I will post on here when found.  The sentiment I made on word.  The flowers are from WOC and the corner die is Marianne Creatables.  I used glitter glue and the pearls and ribbon are from my stash.  I coloured the image using promarkers and prisma pencils.

I have had this image coloured up for a while and then the brainwave came to me.... MAKE A CARD for a change LOL.  So here it is...

The image is Teen Fairy Pia.  She was coloured using promarkers and prisma pencils.  The backing papers are from Dragon Lair Designs.  The corners are from Whimsey and the pearl gems and ribbon from my stash.  The flowers are from WOC. I made the sentiment on my computer.  The inside reflects the front of card.

Spring Fairy Aleta - Mo Manning

Good evening everyone

I have been out today for lunch with my Dad and stepmum... I actually felt really sad but was good to spend time with Dad.  All I kept thinking about was my Mum, gosh this is hard.  When I decided to make up another card I thought this angel could be for my Mum.I might even send it up to her by helium balloon when I scatter her ashes. 

Anyway onto the ingredients of this creation.  The image is Spring Fairy Aleta by Mo Manning and she was coloured using Promarkers.  I used lots of glamour dust on her as you can see. (Ihope!) The sentiment came from my stash and I cannot remember where I got it from so I apologise for that.  The corner die is by Memory Box and I have fallen in love with their collection.The pearl gems are from my stash.  The backing papers are by Michelle R Designs. In love with those also.  The roses are from WOC.  The inside compliments the front.  I have stamped the swirls and added lots of pearl gems.

I have eaten my chinese food and got straight back to table to finish this card off.  I coloured this little beauty during the week and felt I owed it to her to frame her.  I used promarkers, copics and prismas to colour her up.  The papers are from my Memories.  Diecuts by Marianne D and Spellbinders.  Gems, flowers and ribbon from my stash.  I know this post is short and perhaps sweet but I really do want to get to bed... work in the morning.

Well first Mothers Day card done for my step mother.  I cannot bring myself to do my Mums at the moment given the situation. I just keep crying so will have to leave it til I can control myself.  

I have used Kisses by Mo Manning and what a cutie she is.  I coloured her up using promarkers and prism pencils.  Oh how I love using them together.  The papers are from My Memories, ribbon and pearls from my stash.  Flowers from stash and WOC.  Diecut leaves are spellbinders cut in mulberry paper and distressed with promarker using a sponge.Sentiment on Word.
