New DT Post and it's STEAMPUNKtember -F

Wow have some great news - I applied to be on Design Team for Anything but a Card Challenge blog and I was chosen.  Such great news and I am thrilled.  The new DT will be announced today and we will all be showing a STEAMPUNKtember project of our owm and here is mine.

 I felt like getting really messy so lots of modelling paste, paint and inka gold used, my hands look terrible now lol.  I used an old box, bits of chain from evergrowing bits and bobs stash, modelling paste and wood effect stamp (not recognizable with embellishment on) for texture, lots of wooden cogs, made to look aged using modelling paste, paint etc just like the box.  Thats it really....... hope you like the final piece.

Just a card.........F

Good evening everyone

I recieved a puzzle stamp from France made by Magenta and I just love love love it!  The words mean 

 ''Fill my life with music and love me without end''

 How lovely is that! (Got no one to send it to lol)

 I stamped and clear embossed, coloured all using copics and DI, mounted onto black cardstock, added some ribbons from my bits and bob box and voila all done!

Birthday Gift Bag - F

Another project completed - this time a gift bag for my daughters birthday next month.  I will be filling it with girly things, just hope she likes it.  I forgot to take a pic of the before but it is one of those chipboard carrier bag so is rigid to start with.

Ingredients

Modelling paste with brick stencil
saxe blue paint as base then washed over with cream
wooden frame painted in taupe and wiped over with inka gold
my fave stamp - Ophelia from shakespeare, stamped clear embossed and then covered with acetate
jewelled flower from an old pair of earrings, 
leak appliques 
pearl strands
feathers
old doilies
gold crushed ribbon for handles and bow


I think thats about it lol

Enjoyed doing this and sorry for overload of pics - I could not make up my mind which ones were best ones lol

Another card for my stash.....F

Hi everyone

I am getting to like these stamps for fun birthday cards.  They make me chuckle and this one is me all over!

Ingredients

Kraft card
orange and yellow coredinations card distressed
Stamp - Dolly Mama's
coloured pens
stamp letters embossed with clear embossing powder
red and green TH DI sponged around image

Thats it really - just shook all ingredients together and a wave in the air and voila all done!

A fun card - F

and not usually my type of thing but I came across these fab and funky stamps (Dolly Mama's by Stamps Happen) and actually like them.  I find it difficult to find them though so if anyone in the UK knows where from let me in on the secret lol.  What I like about them is no shading and shadowing necessary yayyy!

I used some cordinations card embossed, sanded and wiped over with red DI and an odd scrap of paper for the backing of the card.  A couple scraps of ribbon from my never ending scrap box lol.  I stamped the image, coloured it using copics and fussy cut it out.  I then stuck it onto some card I had sprayed with dylusion sprays - then mounted it on yellow card.  I stamped the bag image again and fussy cut that out and made the bag look 3d.




I will be using this for an upcoming birthday

Thats it really - it was fun and whats more really easy lol.

Sweethearts...F

Just a quickie tonight - a fast fix for my passion before beddy byes lol

I covered a playing card with a scrap of vintagy paper with the word memories on it and wiped TH ink over the top.  I stamped the image of the fab sweethearts onto cream card and wiped the same ink over it.  I used my dymo for the letters and a tiny doily also wiped with the ink.  I sealed it using mod podge antique.

There ya go so quick if you had blinked you would have missed it all LOL.

Added extra DT project - F

As we a little thin on the ground with DT over at Eclectic Ellapu etc I decided to make a card to add to the inspiration.

I used the following

Kraft card
brown card 
Paper from Basic Grey
An image from a stamp I bought a while back and forgot about, silver embossed and then coloured with copics and chalk
The sentiments is from Die'sire range
The ribbon from my stash
handmade bow
Rock Candy over my image and sentiment







Well thats it for now - I keep on saying that lol and I am sure it wont be long before I am back again lol.

New challenge Eclectic Ellapu - F

Hey everyone.....

This project is for one of my challenge blogs, Eclectic Ellapu, whereby the theme for the PINK team is HEARTS.  Now I love to alter MDF hearts, and usually end up shabby chic.  This time I wanted to do a new look.  

I used poppy paper on one side and bark print the other. I wiped the paper over with distress inks and splashed it with water.  I painted green leaves red using maya gold and rubbed inka gold over the top.  I also roughly painted around the edges using the maya gold.  I stamped and gold embossed poppy seed pods. I tore out the words Thank you from the same paper stack.  Finally made a bow using sheer ribbon.  

That was so simple I keep looking at it and thinking there must be something missing LOL.
