Double spotlighting

 Good morning everyone

Hope you are all well . I was up so early it already feels it has been a long day lol. 

Anyhow here is a card I made this morning and thoroughly enjoyed doing so especially the double spotlighting

I used Lavinia stamps, Mae, Orchids and mini stars

Versafine clair nicturne and monarch

Elements inks Violet chalk

Purple sharpie

black fineliner

purple and dark pink distress markers on the orchids which were then glittered over the top using Spectrum Noir pens, purple, orange, dark pink and light pink not visible in photo

Glitter posca pen pink for splatters, not visible in photo

Lavinia sentiments 2 which I coloured it purple with monarch to blend in with background

Live in the moment

 Hi all 

I think this one be the final of the day. For this I turned out my box of Lavinia pound stamps and a few of my favourite grasses etc. I did not have any idea of what I was aiming for, basically just going for it lol. 

 Below is the list of items used for this card. Are you ready for it lol

Low tack tape to mask off where the sentiments were going

Flower Forest

Hi all , just a quick card, well in comparison to me spending ages as usual. 

I taped around the edges of the card and one strip 2/3 away down the card for the sentiment however never went to plan.  I decided to stamp at the bottom and up one side, as you can see.  Left enough room for the sentiment though lol. 

For this one I used just 2 sets of Lavinia stamps -  words from Harmony and Leaf  spray

I found a spare couple of hours after work and found myself making a card even though I had no idea where it was going and started off with the hills

Forest Flora

 Hi all 

I have just put this together for one of my managers, yes more than one as I am too much of a maverick in my nature (nightmare!!!!) She drove me to the hospital and picked me up so a thank you is in order.  She would not take money for petrol either

I had a hospital appointment today for a CT scan due to being in Hospital over Christmas. I could not breathe, was on oxygen for nearly 2 weeks.  All done and dusted now though appointments every 4 months to check on the lung function.  Anyhow Now for my card and envelope

I used a leaf stencil and Lavinia stamps forest flowers.  New out part of the fairy fest.

I used Mermaid and  violet chalk Elements ink pads

Blowing beauty

 I am kinda stuggling with mojo at the moment. I think I have far too many stamps not used yet so thought I would use a couple of the well used, my go to, stamps

Anyway here is what I used for this one. Waving wildflowers - Poppies and dandelions and Sentiments 1 (never used, well done me) meeces from Waters edge and also the birds. The meeces are well loved and taken care of!!!!!

Products used Versafine clair, nocturne, summertime, shady lane, pine forest and glamorous (poppies and dandelion)

Elements della blue and, lime punch and olive (sky and grass)

Circle mask to highlight the dandelions

Nuvo shimmer glitter gloss, cannot see the sparkle in photo

Owl be seeing you ..

 Today another 8x8 card using my new Lavinia stamps.  For this project I used the following

Stamps Ginger, nightfall, wise owl, forest flowers, Tilly, Tango and Basil (I think!)

Flourish stencil

For Ginger the owl I used Arteza pencils, Dolphin gray, pewter gray, cloudy gray, storm gray and white quartz

For his feet Polychromo pencils Sanguine, burnrt ochre and Caput Mortum

Owl, My Familiar

 Well I have received my new Lavinia stamps and have used a couple on my 8x8 card.  First time ever making a card this size. I always thought there would be too much space to fill - how wrong was I.

In the heart of the forest

 Hi all yes it is me again

I did not know where I was going with this one. This morning I was playing with my gel plate for some backgrounds using Lavinia stencil - Bud. I used lime punch, bemuda and a little sahara Element inks. Brayered it onto gel plate, placed the stencil over top, brayed ink through stencil. I used a dandelion stamp over the top before placing the design over the card. Can barely see the dandelion print except in the top left of the circle - really feint though

I used graphite around the edge and corners of card to deepen the colour and to give it a frame if you know what I mean

Didn't have a clue what to do so just started stamping random flowers along the bottom - Lavina stamps Wild summer flowers, blubells, Flora set and orchard grass. I used Cherry blossom at the top. 

Yes I have used Aurora again, she is the only one I have until my next 2 orders come through. One is coming tomorrow so am excited. 

 I have left a sentiment off until my order comes or maybe not use one - have not made up my mind yet. That is the Libran coming out in me lol 

I used a circle mask arounf the area I wanted highlighted using Russet orange for the aura.

For the colourings I used polychromo pencils, Spectrum Noir Aqua tints, Sheen Douglas sparkle pens, stickles, yellow, blue, red and orange posca pens, white gel pen, black fineliner and white pastel pencil. 

I feel like I have stepped back into my mixed media days and thoroughly enjoyed it

I think thats about it.

 Yes me again so hello to you all

Today is a Lavinia stamps card. I just love making floral/girlie type cards of course alongside all of my other styles - One just has to do something different now and then
