You and Me - TiddlyInks

I have put this card together for the purpose of the Poodles Parlour challenge of MONOCHROMATIC,  I am one of the new DT's over there and I am loving every minute of it.

This fortnightly challenge is being sponsored by The Stamping Boutique.  Great stamps for little money.  Check it out for yourselves.  We are also sponsered  by The Digi Garden for every challenge. Each of the Top 3 win three Digi Garden images of their choice and each of the Poodles Picks win two Digi Garden images of their choice! Apart from having lots of fun creating your monchromatic projects there are lots of ways to win.  We, over at Poodles Parlour, are looking forward to seeing your entries.

This actual challenge was quite handy for me as I have a couple of friends getting married in June and they are verging on the GOTH side so black and grey seemed appropriate. Killed 2 birds with 1 stone so to speak.  As already stated the image is from the talented Christy Croll and actually one of my favs.I coloured it up using my ever faithful prismas. I used spellbinders leaves, grommet die and the roses are from WOC as usual.  The papers are from Raspberry Road.  I do love their collections.  I think I may have used a little too much glitter and now wish I had left the leaves black.. but hey ho too late now it has been done LOL.

Anyway thanks for peeking at least and it would be great if you could leave a comment or two as I love to read others opinions on my work...as long as it not rude LOL

Willow Sketchie - 3 different papers

You and me baby - Christy Croll

Just a very quick post re a really quick card (not the colouring of the image though, that took a while! LOL).  I enlarged the image and coloured it up using my pencils.  I wanted to see how it looked much bigger than normal (for me that is!)The backing papers came from Lynn Call Designs, Russet passion.  I used Marianne Creatables die for the corners and the ribbon for the bow was from my stash.

Wryn, New Nest - Christy Croll with Oval Flowers - Gayle Bond from Scrapbook Sisters

Hi all

Tonight I have used one of my prizes, yes prizes, from winning a challenge over at Scrapbook Sisters.  It has served two purposes actually, one I wanted to experiment with it and two I wanted to enter their latest challenge no 71, New Home.  So the best image to merge into the oval frame has got to be Wryn, New Nest from Tiddlyinks.

The backing papers are from Nitwits and all the diecuts are Spellbinders and Marianne Creatables. I created the sentiment in word. I used alot of glitter glue on the project along with gems from my stash.  Notice no ribbons flowers and bows.  Makes a change LOL.

The inside compliments the front

Cast your spell - Christy Croll

Tonight I have been making this card for this weeks
Tiddlyinks challenge of Sparkle it up.
One stitch at a time - Anything Goes

I used Cast your spell by Christy Croll as I felt it appropriate for sparkle!  I coloured the image with my prismacolor pencils.  I loaded it with glamour dust and teeny weeny gems from my stash.  The backing papers are from My Memories

The ribbons from my stash are also sparkled up with my teeny weeny gems. The sentiments were ticket style but I cut them up tiny and layered two of them.  Around the edge of one of the layed I pleated the organza ribbon to add another dimension to my project.... The inside has also been treated in a similar way, as usual....

Well that is it from me tonight.. I do hope you enjoyed your visit tonight

Wryn Grow a little love - Christy Croll

Its that time again to post LOL....

Tonight I have been working on Wryn to enter into Tiddlyinks challenge, Colours - yellow, orange, blue and green. I love these new characters so was not difficult to get my backside into gear.

I coloured up the image with my usual pencils.  I used the same papers as the previous card as I love them so much however reversed the layout. The backing papers are from Nitwits.  The ribbon and bow are from my stash as are the pearl gems.

The leaves are spellbinders and the roses are made by me.  I coloured the mulbery paper with a promarker to get the right shade.  I placed a few different coloured butterflies which I coated with glamour dust and teenyweeny gems for their bodies. I even placed one on the large rose.  The sentiment came with the image and is just as cute.

The inside compliments the front of the card.

Well thats it for me again... peace and quiet for all LOL.. Nighty night and please feel free to drop by again soon.
