In the dead of night

 I have so enjoyed putting this one together. Not only do I have my favourite mice in the bottom corners but also managed to place one near a tree. He is barely visible in the photo perhaps he is hiding from all of us!!!! He can be seen better with the card right in front of me - maybe he is not hiding from me at all lol.

Anyhow the stamp sets I used are of course Card-io, Waters edge, Amiable abodes, Hanging out, Tall trees and White woods.
Versacolors, charcoal, black, sky gray, smoke blue, chateau gray, imperial blue bisque, brown, pinecone, and versacraft white

Hide and seek episode

 This morning, well for the last 2 hours of it, I put this one together. The Card-io sets used are Wisteria, Textures, Breezy day, Taking cover and On the fence.

The mouse is hiding and I don't blame him!!

Hide and seek

The little mouse is so brave to hide the other side of the pot whilehis swinging mate is doing a fab job of distracting him. He hasn't noticed the one that got away!!!!

Card-io stamp sets  used Waving wildflowers, Taking cover, Amiable abodes, Posh pots, Wisteria and Forest flora

Poor puddy cat

Hi first card in nearly three days... just keep making real boo boos where my stamping is concerned lol. Hopefully I will get back on track. Anyhow here is one I have just put together, The hares are making a splash by thumping their feet and that poor mouse getting real wet while trying to keep them dry. The bird has added weight to umbrella so he really is feeling the strain. I don't know if you notice but the mouse does not want to keep the cat dry!!!
Stamp sets used are Making a splash, whatever the weather, wet weather, taking cover and down at the den. Cool Grey. black and cardinal red, versacolor inks. Grey and black versafine clair inks.

Sail away

 It is time for a new challenge over at 613 Avenue Create and the theme is anything goes with the option of using a stencil.  I have a colleague leaving our department on promotion and thought I would use this stamp and call it sail away cos that is just what she is doing lol 

I saw Eileen Godwin on YouTube and gained inspiration from her - thank you Eileen

I used a Tim holtz stencil for very muted background of light green, a moon mask for three areas 2 I used pale pink and the last using yellow.

I stamped the image, coloured in using polychromos and finished off with black enamel dots

The sentiment is from stampin'up - I think it is a little large for the card however I wanted it to stand out when she displays for certain reasons I cannot go into.

Stroll along the waters edge

  One from today using Card-io stamp sets Waters edge, Down at the Den, Mini small trees, Tattered Trail, Beach trail and still waters.

Distress inks weathered wood, stormy sky, Versacolor sky blue, cyan, indigo, lagoon blue, chateaux gray, pinecone and brown. Versafine clair nocturne. shady lane and fallen leaves. White gel pen on the water, blue, yellow and orange pastel pencils.

Round a wreath POE

Hi all

Time for a new challenge over at Peace on Earth Christmas following the moodboard below


Now you can have fun with this one plenty of scope

I have found this tiny wreath die in my stash and have no idea where it came from.  I simply die cut it three times and stacked it.  I cut it out one more time just for the bow using copper mirri card and placed it on the white bow

That is it really apart from no sentiment needed

Down in the den

Another put together and can you see I just had to have the little mouse hiding away behind the tree - think he may be a little wary of making himself known lol.

All are Card-io stamps and the sets used are Textures, Down at the den, Waving wildflowers, New Beginnings, Winter trees, Hangin'out and Woodland retreat.

Music to my ears

 Hi all-time for a new challenge over at AAA Birthday and the theme is Layer it up chosen by Swapna


I used the following

Tonic Studio Clef die layered 3 times in white and then one layer of black slightly offset to create a shadow.  I die cut an MFT square and layered onto black card

The sentiment I have no idea of origin

Quiet corner of nature

I have managed to put together a card after hours of pondering as to what to do and a few pieces of card ended up in the bin.

So here it is. I used all Card-io stamps

The sets used are Wildflower woods and Woodland Retreat and Nature quotes
