Water's Edge View

 Hi guys

I have been working on this today and have called this one 'Water's Edge View'

For this one I used Card-io stamp sets Beside the sea, Waters edge, Waterside walk and beach trail

Distress Oxide ink pads Chipped sapphire, Wilted violet and shaded lilac

Versacolor ink pads Turqouise, Royal blue and Atlantic

Versfine clair Nocturne

Archival brilliance Moonlight white

Black fineline, white gel pen, grey and black sharpie

'Arriving in my dream

 I struggled again today, I had an idea. tried it out THREE times and gave up. This one went so smoothly and was no where near my original idea lol

I saw the image on Inspration Station challenge blog and chose to use the vibrant colours for my project

I enjoyed making this one and have called it ''Arriving in my dream''
I used Card-io stamp sets On the fence, Field Floral, Winter trees and wise words
Card-io cricle stencil
Inkylicious mountain stencils
Distress Oxide ink pads Black soot, crackled campfire and fossilized amber
Vesracolor ink pads indigo, atlantic and camelia
Versafine Clair Nocturne
Black fineliner, white gel pen and yellow posca pen

At your own pace

 First one I have managed to make for the past few days. I have tried but nothing worked, it appears my ideas and mojo went for a tour around the world a couple of times lol.

For this one I used a Lavinia stencil for the background using varying shades of grey to black inks throughout
The Card-io sets I used were Perfect Patch, Nature quotes and Wisteria

I drew the stones beneath the tortoisies as did not like the grass effect

Sharpie pen for the edging and fineliner for the stems, if you can see them lol

I am calling this 'At your own pace'

I am a star

 Hi it is time again for a new challenge for team Diane over at Peace on Earth Christmas.  I love this moodboard as it is mostly white and I love white on white



For this one I chose to use a star die, which I think it is unbranded, and a reindeer die which I think could be Gummiapan however I really am not sure so could be very wrong.  No sentiment needed.  I used a snow embossing folder for the background.

Swinging bird 613

 It is time for a new challenge over at 613 Avenue Create.  there is the optional theme of  Summertime/living is easy. 

For this card I used Card-io stamps from various sets.  I used black and greys as I love monochrome effect

Mad for glitter


I made this for a little girl a couple of houses away from me
I am calling this one Mad for Glitter

The background I used fossillized amber, Cracked pistachio, wilted violet and picked raspberry distress oxide inks. I splattered with water and the used the bokeh effect using circle stencil and white pan pastel

For the tree I used Card-io set Winter tree with multiple stamping of the top to make it larger and more dense In Nocturne versafine clair. I drew the roots using black finliner.

I used the fairies from Card-io et Secret garden

I used white gel pen for the highlight

I used gold glamour dust for the bokeh circles, crystal glamour dust for the branches and roots
Using a glue pen I dotted randomly over tree, circles and roots and sprinkled Lavinia holographic glitter

Fluttering Dragonfly AAA

 Yes it is that time of the month for a new challenge over at AAA Birthday and the theme chosen by Mugdha & Deekshita's is WATERCOLOURS


 I chose to make the background using a Tim Holtz flower stencil and watered down oxide inks.  I placed the ink on my glass mat, added water the placed the stencil down with the card over top.  

I cut an aperture in the front panel, place the background behind it.  I cut 2 dragonflies and place one on top of other and lifted the wings for dimension. I used a rose die unknown brand, cut twice and layered over the background.  The leaves I had cut off the flower I placed to the side on the panel.

Reg and Maisie

 Hi all

I called this one Reg and Maise because that is what i call the two hedgehogs who live under my garden shed

For this card I used Card-io stamp sets Woodland Retreat, Flutterby Gardens and Beach trail

Versacolor ink pads sage, petal pink, bark, pinecone and bisque
