  I have bit the bullet and made a start on my Lavinia calendar.

I used the pictures of book and potion bottle at the bottom of the page as inspiration

I was excited to have a go at this design by Amanda Branston over at Lavinia Stamps.  Perfect for  my Grandson Bradley who is is turning 5 in a few months.  I know made way ahead of time.  Will probably forget I have made it and make another lol

Just Be Yourself 2

 Hello everyone, hope you are all well

I was playing around with my paints this morning.  Did not turn out as I had in my head initially though I am pleased how it turned out.

For this I used the following ingredients

7x7inch cream card with black and painted background mat/layering 

(I cut half circles from the scraps left over from watercolour background and created a partial effect on back layer leaving gaps for my sentiments)

my new Lavinia detail brushes - really good

Versafine clair Nocturne with clear embossing powder

Gainsai Tambi Pearl paints for the background and hummingbird

Lavinia stamps Hummingbird large and bumble words manipulated to curve - pain in the butt that was getting it stamped before flicked back straight.  I tried 3 times lol - lots of scrap card left

March Calendar page

Hi all I am still working on my Lavinia calendar and have managed to complete the month of March

The inspiration came for the poppies at the bottom of page - now you know why there are so many poppies lol

 Good day to you all, hope you are well

For this one, a really delicate card I used the following

DL size card with pink and grey mat/layering

Low tack tape for the panel

Versafine clair morning mist

Kuretake Gansai Tambi Opal watercolour paints - Opal pink and Opal violet, then splattered using fan brush

Lavinia Flourish stencil

Lavinia stamp Twilight Lily

Sakura gelly Roll stardust clear pen abs diamante

The colour only shows up when turned at a slant I should have used a darker colour

Noof is brave and loved 7

 Happy Monday to you all

Today I have put together another tag for a friend who is struggling at the moment and is basically a ''just because'' moment.

For this I used a 7x4 tag die (unknown as a lot of my tag dies are as were a gift) using watercolour card with sunshine yellow matt

Versafine Clair Nocturne and Sand dune

Elements Sahara and Truffle

Brown watercolour pencil for the fur

Lime green pencil for the eyes with glossy accents

Lavinia stamps Noof and Forbidden secrets

The back panel is the same but muted a little as will be writing on it

Brown crushed silk ribbon 

handmade envelope using my envelope maker and again stamping Noof on the front and back

Christmas in an enchanted garden

 Yes it is time for a new challenge over at Peace on Earth Christmas.  The moodboard below allows almost anything to be interpreted. 

I have interpreted top right and bottom left using a enchanted garden door with it's own fairy Christmas tree with red and gold stickles as decorations. Hanging fairy lantern for the outside light.

Really enjoyed making this.  All the stamps used are Lavinia.

Laminated Gift envelopes

 Hi everyone

A practice at making smaller laminated envelopes - great for money gifts.  

Ingredients

Lavinia Dreamscape papers

size of envelopes 4.5 x 3.25 inch made using my envelope maker

Lavinia stamps - Quinn, butterflies, Lumus small

black and white pastel pencil 

white posca pen

green and pink snap fasteners 

This really is a practice and made several prior to these, stamped upside down, dropped ink on them, whatever could go wrong did lol.
