I had some background left from when I was playing around 'smooshing'. There are plenty of tutorials out there on you tube but basically it is placing distress ink or oxide ink or any water reactive inks onto your mat, spritz with water and then gently placed card over top and taking it away quickly until you have the desired effect. I used pink and grey for this one.
I die cut a flower and leaves which I think are Altenew, three times and layered them. I then die cut the front panel for the negative space, placed the background on the card base, attached the card front using double sided foam tape, placed the stacked die cuts back into the negative spaces.
I stamped the sentiment by Creative Expressions and backed it with the same background.

I love the simple elegance of this card. It has dimension and a subtly created background behind those die cuts.
